Our organic papayas' exterior may have marks and dark colour spots but when you cut it open and remove the skin, the inside will be perfectly edible. There will be a few seeds as is expected in any papaya variant. Organic fruits have such an exterior appearance because only natural methods are used to keep away insects, pests and fungus.
We deliver unripe/semi ripe papayas only. Our papayas are expected to ripen in 2-3 days under proper storage conditions. Please do not refrigerate when the papaya is unripe/semi-ripe. If you want to quicken the ripening process you can cover the papaya with paper and check on the ripeness after one day. If you want to quicken the ripening process, please store the papaya under warm conditions to hasten the ripening process.
