Our muskmelons will require 2-3 days to ripen. It is recommended that you keep your muskmelon on the counter until you are ready to consume it and not place it in the refrigerator unless it has ripened fully or is cut.
An uncut melon can last longer on a counter when it is stored in a spot away from direct sunlight than it would in the fridge.
Once you have cut your melon make sure you place it in an airtight container and refrigerate it.
