Wellbe Moong Yellow Dal is split and skinned whole moong beans. It is sourced from wholly organic farms in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Wellbe Moong Yellow Dal is unpolished to help retain its nutritive value. Polishing is a multi-level process done to make dal look shiny and appealing. However, the polishing process strips the dal of all its nutrients. Wellbe Moong Yellow Dal does not contain any colors or additives and is completely unadulterated. Research data shows that a large number of conventional farmers may use pesticides such as DDT and chlorpyrifos on crops to get good yields. Exposure to these chemicals has been found to cause diarrhea, seizures, and liver problems.
